How to cook fluffy pancakes with milk, kefir and water?

We all love to eat pancakes. Especially when they are still hot. This is a great breakfast for both children and adults. We serve them with jam, honey, sour cream or jam. But what difference does it make if you can’t bake them?

There are a lot of pancake recipes. Just choose yours. But they don’t always turn out exactly the way we like them: fluffy and airy. Housewives with experience have long been trained and know many secrets on how to do this. But the young and inexperienced are still at a loss.

Since our distant ancestors baked them, few people know. But now you can bake them from whatever you want. It can be kefir, milk or water. Or you can mix everything and it will be good too.

Here you will find enough recipes that you will not just like. But perhaps you will add them to your piggy bank.

You are about to bake pancakes, but there is no kefir or sour milk in the refrigerator. And I don’t really want to run to the store. What problems? Bake with milk. Many people stubbornly tell me that this is impossible. I baked them and they turned out fluffy and delicious.

Ingredients:

  • Milk – 1 glass;
  • Flour – 1.5 cups;
  • Sugar – 1 tablespoon;
  • Salt – 1 pinch;
  • Soda – 0.5 teaspoon;
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.;

Preparation:

1. Break the egg and separate the yolk from the white. Set aside the white for later, and add salt, sugar and soda to the yolk. We rub everything thoroughly.

2. The milk should be warm, so warm it up a little on the stove or in the microwave. Pour it into the yolk and mix.

3. Sift the flour through a sieve and add small portions to our mixture. Stir until the lumps disappear completely.

We sift the flour so that it is saturated with oxygen and our products are light and airy.

4. Beat the whites with a mixer or whisk into white foam. Place the puffed egg whites into the dough and mix again.

5. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil. Using a spoon, spread out the dough. Fry on one side over medium heat until golden brown.

6. Turn over to the other side and bake until done. Serve with jam or honey.

Cooking pancakes with milk and yeast

Yeast gives the pancakes an incredible airiness. Some may think that you put the filling inside there.

Ingredients:

  • Milk – 1 glass;
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.;
  • Dry yeast – 1 teaspoon;
  • Sugar – 1 tablespoon;
  • Salt – 1 pinch;
  • Flour – 1.5 cups;
  • Vegetable oil - for frying.

Preparation:

1. Heat the milk a little so that it is warm. Pour 1/3 cup into a bowl and add yeast to it. Stir and let them dissolve a little.

2. When the yeast has dissolved, pour out the remaining milk. Add sugar and three tablespoons of flour. Stir until smooth and leave to stand until the dough begins to rise. This takes approximately 15 – 20 minutes.

3. If you still have milk left, add it. Break a chicken egg. Add salt and stir. Add the remaining flour and stir until the lumps disappear completely. Cover with a clean napkin or lid and wait for the dough to rise.

4. Place the dough in a frying pan heated with vegetable oil using a spoon.

To ensure that the dough comes off the spoon easily, it must be moistened with water or vegetable oil before each new portion of dough.

Bake on both sides until golden brown.

Delicious pancakes with kefir

And yet the most delicious pancakes are made with kefir. They are more tender. And the dough is very easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • Kefir – 2 glasses;
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.;
  • Sugar – 1.5 tablespoons;
  • Salt – 2 pinches;
  • Flour – 2.5 cups;
  • Soda – 0.5 teaspoon;

Preparation:

1. Kefir should be warm or at room temperature. To do this, remove it from the refrigerator in advance or warm it up a little. Pour it into a deep cup. Add salt, sugar, soda and chicken egg. The soda in kefir will be extinguished, so there is no need to use vinegar or boiling water. Beat everything well.

2. Sift the flour through a sieve and pour it into the mixture in parts. Break up the lumps thoroughly using a whisk. Stir the dough until smooth. It should be thick so that it doesn’t run off the spoon.

3. Spoon into a heated frying pan with vegetable oil.

Do not pour too much oil, as the pancakes will easily absorb it.

Fry on both sides until a beautiful, golden crust appears.

Serve with condensed milk.

How to bake pancakes with milk and kefir so that they are fluffy?

This is my mom's favorite recipe. She likes to cook pancakes not just with kefir or milk, but to combine these two ingredients. And the result is worth it.

Ingredients:

  • Kefir – 1 cup;
  • Milk – 1 glass;
  • Flour – 3 cups;
  • Sugar – 2 tablespoons;
  • Soda – 1 teaspoon;
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon;
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.;
  • Vegetable oil - for frying.

Preparation:

1. Break a chicken egg into a deep cup. Add salt, sugar and soda to it. Grind everything thoroughly.

2. Pour in milk and kefir, preferably they are warm or at room temperature. Beat with a whisk.

3. Sift the flour directly into a cup, only in small portions, so that you stop in time. Look at the flour based on the dough you get.

If the dough is liquid, the pancakes will not rise. Conversely, if it is too thick, it will be difficult for them to rise.

It turns out that the dough should be thicker than store-bought sour cream. That is, it does not pour out of a spoon.

4. Stir the dough until smooth and without lumps.

5. Bake in a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil over medium heat on both sides.

Serve with whatever you like best: honey, jam or sour cream.

Bon appetit!
